Privacy Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026.
MemoryMatch.ai is run by Yarkii LLC. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and what you can do about it.
If you just visit
You can read the site without an account. We do not run analytics or advertising, and we set no cookies until you start signing in. Like any website, our servers and our network provider, Cloudflare, process your IP address and basic request details (such as your browser type and the page you asked for) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Our server logs are kept briefly and then overwritten.
If you sign in with Google
Signing in creates a MemoryMatch.ai account. Google shares with us, and we store:
- your name,
- your email address,
- your profile picture link, and
- an identifier for your Google account, so we can recognise you next time.
We ask Google only for these basic profile details (the “openid”, “email” and “profile” permissions). We never see your Google password and cannot read your email, contacts, files or anything else in your Google account. We also keep the display name you choose on your account page, and when your account was created and last signed in.
If you create an avatar
Creating an AI avatar asks for more, and only after you have read and agreed to our Likeness Policy:
- three photos of you (face straight on, face turned slightly, full body) and a 3-second video, taken with your phone;
- your username and date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or older; never shown on your profile);
- features read from your photos by AI to build your avatar — such as eye and hair colour and an estimate of your height and build;
- your avatar settings: who can cast you, your subscription price and the scene types you allow.
Your photos and video are stored privately and are never shown on the site. Each photo is checked by our AI provider, OpenAI, as you take it, to make sure it will make a good avatar; a photo that does not pass is discarded, not kept. Your face data is handled as described in section 5 of the Likeness Policy, including when it is deleted. We also record when you agreed to the Likeness Policy and which version.
How we use it
- to sign you in and keep you signed in,
- to show your name and picture on your account, and
- to contact you about your account if we need to.
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Where it is kept
Account data is stored in a database on a server we operate ourselves, not with a third-party database provider. Cloudflare carries traffic between you and that server. We keep your account until you ask us to delete it.
Cookies
Only the cookies needed to sign you in. They are listed on the cookie page.
Your choices
You can change your display name on your account page. To see, export or delete everything we hold about you, email [email protected] from the address on your account; we will act on it within 30 days. You can also remove MemoryMatch.ai’s access at any time from your Google account’s third-party connections page.
Children
MemoryMatch.ai is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
