Delete your account

You can delete your MemoryMatch.ai account yourself at any time, from the site or the app. It happens at once and can’t be undone.

How to delete it

1. Sign in with the Google account you use for MemoryMatch.ai.
2. Open Account (your picture, top right, then Account).
3. At the bottom, under Delete my account, type your username and press Delete my account.

Can’t sign in any more? Email support@yarkii.com from the address on your account and say “delete my account”. We delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and tell you when it’s done.

What is deleted

• your profile, username, name and date of birth
• your avatar sheet, profile picture and body measurements
• the photos and video you took for your avatar
• the memories you made and uploaded, with their films, hearts, views and shares
• your matches, cherished memories, game scores and email settings
• your sign-in (your Google account itself is not touched)

These are deleted from our database and file storage straight away.

What is kept

Memories other members made that you are in stay on their profiles. Your name and picture are taken off them: you show as "a former member". Their makers can still make them private. Reports you sent about other people’s pictures are kept, without your name, so we can finish looking at them.

Deleting your MemoryMatch.ai account does not delete your Google account. You can also remove MemoryMatch.ai’s access from your Google account’s third-party connections page.
